Rhaenyra Targaryen and Her Children
Birth of Her First Six Children
In the first season of the "Game of Thrones" prequel series "House of the Dragon," Rhaenyra Targaryen gave birth to six children. All of her children were boys, and three of them were fathered by Ser Harwin Strong, although it was heavily implied in the book "Fire & Blood" that he was not the true father.
The Father of Rhaenyra's Children
Rhaenyra's first three children were fathered by Ser Laenor Velaryon, her first husband. However, it was widely believed that Harwin Strong was the true father of these children, given their strong resemblance to him. This led to Rhaenyra being called the "Half-Year Queen," as her children were born less than a year after her marriage to Velaryon.
Rhaenyra's Other Children
After the death of her first husband, Rhaenyra married her uncle, Daemon Targaryen. They had three more children together, all of whom were boys. These children were named Viserys, Aegon, and Daeron.
