Carmella Cashes in Money in the Bank, Wins SmackDown Women's Championship
Former "SmackDown" Women's Champion Carmella has recaptured the title after cashing in her Money in the Bank contract on the latest edition of the show.
Carmella had previously won the Money in the Bank contract in June at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view event. She has previously won the title at the 2018 Royal Rumble and has held it for a combined total of 154 days.
Carmella's victory at the Independence Dayedition of SmackDown marks her second reign as the SmackDown Women's Champion. In addition to her title wins, Carmella has also held the WWE 24/7 Championship for a total of 166 days, making her one of the most decorated female superstars in WWE history.
